UglyShare is a rebellion.
Against polish. Against waiting until it's perfect. Against fear dressed up as high standards.
We're here to bring back the curious child who built things just to see if they could. Who didn't ask if it would sell. Who didn't care if anyone liked it.
This is where we publish the half-baked, broken, unfinished, and joyful.
Not because it's good. Because it's honest.
We share to remember what made us fall in love with making in the first place.
- No perfection.
- No productivity hacks.
- No audience-chasing.
- Just creation for creation's sake.
Welcome to UglyShare.

This was supposed to be the week I made progress on my weight loss app.
I did.... not much.
Here's what actually happened:
- Got too busy with urgencies at work and didn't have the mental energy to work on my weight loss app.
- Got distracted and lost the rest of the time on youtube or browsing reddit aimlessly.
- Had less than optimal sleep time and quality, which added on top of the other two.
What I'm noticing:
- I stop working on it for a while when I have to make hard design decisions.
- I overthink the details which then makes me lose the momentum.
- I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing.
What did I actually do, if anything:
- I created a Food Log service class and refactored some of the code.
- I updated some API calls to use the new service class.
- I added the scan food button with upload image functionality.
- I redesigned the waitlist page.
What I'm doing next:
- I'm posting this to break the silence.
- Complete camera image upload functionality and the scan results page.
Here's a screenshot of improved food log page, to prove I showed up.
See you next week.
